COLLISION SERIES
The design was created by computer simulation of soft fabric subjected to the forces of gravity and inflation. The soft fabric then collides with a solid primitive geometry. The resulting collision creates the form of each pendant, and the primitive geometry is embedded as a light source. Through this process the collision series reveals the hidden complexity that emerges at the intersection of light, material and form; resulting in a presence that is both natural and uncanny. Each element of the design has been meticulously hand-crafted by the artist.
